On board, the ๐ขEkl'alian, Mrs. Bobbit calls ๐Lola to her room to speak privately. Gronk is impressed by Mrs Bobbit, while ๐ฐFaefina determines that Lola doesn't have much choice in the matter. Neka observes them going below deck, and declares that she doesn't like it. She maintains that the crew operate 'just' within the confines of the law, and she doesn't appreciate the number of eyes on them. She then commands two of the crewmen to keep an eye on the cargo. Turning to Faefina, she suggests that everyone pray to their deity for good luck and success.
The next morning, ๐Bori has another day of meditation, and Faefina is woken by a knock on the door. ๐Lola is very enthusiastic about Mrs Bobbit's assistance, though she also conveys that Mrs Bobbit is disappointed by her lack of training. She demonstrates shapeshifting into a fly and back, and making a flower bloom. She claims that Mrs Bobbit believes she may be an 'average' druid by the time they arrive, and that she will help her with the other druids, and What Crawls Below. As she says it, Faefina feels momentarily aware of all the bugs and rats on the ship.
๐งGronk, asleep in his bunk and dreaming of lost friends, sees Yola beckoning him to watch the sun rise. Sitting on a cloud and watching the sun rise, Yola declares them friends. Gronk is hesitant but concedes for a pinky swear. Yola tells him that at the next island, someone will offer him something, and he should hear them out. Gronk wakes up and tells Harald, who is nonplussed.
Harald's dreams were of the dead as usual, but still slightly lighter and less painful.
Faefina hears another knock on the door, this time firmer and more authoritative. Faefina opens the door to see a Fire Genasi woman, with glasses and hair up n a bun. She introduces herself as Huluna the analyst. She says that Faefina is highly resistant to her presence, and invites her to a chat. Discussing Faefina's friendship with Bori, she mentions an old friend, Betty who used to challenge her. Upon being asked, Faefina declares that she would die for Bori. She mentions a ritual practised by the priests of Dei that can instill a deep and metaphysical bond between people. On her way out, Huluna stops and declares that friendship is a bond that guide any through the darkness.
Faefina heads abovedeck and complains of her exhaustion with the ship. She finds Gronk at the galley, convinced that the offer of soup by the cook to be the prophesied offer Yola predicted. Striking conversation with the cook, she finds that plans are afoot to spy on Mrs Bobbit and Lola. She promises to keep Faefina abreast of discoveries.
Harald meets Geff, and speaks of his strange dream the night before last, discussing Longest Lived One. At this point, a dove flies down and lands between them - an oddity with the ravens circling the ship. Geff declares the dove one of their friends, and that love must be protected at all costs. Geff declares that he has recently suffered great loss, but is not ready to talk about it yet. He advises that Harald visit the temple of Dei in Spanktopia. He mentions too that the tree isn't the Longest Lived One, but is where it can be found.
The ๐ขEkl'alian docks at Spanktopia, and the party heads ashore. Lola remains ensconced with Mrs Bobbit. On leaving the ship, Faefina is hit by a vision of a massive tree, that produces each and every type of leaf and fruit. A face seems to appear in the bark.
Faefina enquires about trees and valleys on the island, but the locals declare that there is nothing of note besides the temple of Dei. One person does however feel compelled to mention a man wearing purple robes who came through on one of the previous ships a few days earlier. Faefina and Harald find Gronk at the market, and see a woman selling pearl necklaces, at a price she declares is very good. She offers two for the price of one, on condition that he give one to a good friend. Gronk accepts and promptly hands the second set to Faefina.
Harald notices a number of quasits on the walls, rooves and in the vicinity. He remembers as the lowest form of demon from the abyss, a polymorph that can be taken as a familiar. Their presence does not bode well, and suggests the presence of other demons.
Faefina mentions that she feels lead to the church of Dei, and Harald suggests they head there. They find there four priests singing in harmony. They enquire about friends and show appreciation for Faefina's pearl necklace. Harald mentions the quasits, and the priests declare themselves - against reason - that they are capable defenders. They tell Harald not to deny the love coming into his life. Harald mentions the demons again, and the priests point out a horde of demons coming towards them. The priests wield swords and bows, and start dispatching the demons with unexpected alacrity. The party faces off against a large four armed Glabrezu.

Stepping back, Faefina uses the opportunity to hit it for 8Blu.
Harald attacks twice hitting once, his halberd decapitating it as Faefina's mace splits open it's chest.
A few quasits inspect the dead bodies, then one points at Harald: 'He has touched you, it seems! One of the new and the old! How does it feel to be special?'
As Harald attacks them, they disappear. One of the priests declares that they are looked at by both an old god and a new god. One of the priests gives Gronk an arrow, which he uses as a hairpin. Faefina gets 9 seeking bolts for her crossbow.
The priests cast Detect Magic, finding that the conjuration was cast in a courtyard, with only coins left behind. Harald recalls that Wren is somehow connected. The coins are arranged concentric rings of copper, gold, platinum. The priests offer to bless a friend for Faefina, and she chooses Gronk. As they hold hands, lights appear around them, and chain sigils run up their arms, as the Rings of Harmony take hold.
On return to the ship they find Neka, looking pleased. She takes them to her room, to show them ๐Lola and Mrs. Bobbit, with a recovered Lite. Lola tells them that with Mrs Bobbit helped her heal him. Lite is relieved to be awake again, but cannot recall much of what happened to him. Mrs Bobbit claims that it was mostly Lola who helped summon the crawlies who took the illness from Lite, she just helped dispell it into leylines.
Mrs Bobbit declares that Faefina's necklace is magical, but is unable to say what it does.
Party get 2250XP.
